What works by age

  • Ages 4 to 6 High energy

Younger children can use age appropriate climbing and active play areas with close supervision.

  • Ages 7 to 10 High energy

Older children can handle longer climbing routes, obstacles, and repeated physical challenges.

Will this work for your family?

Best for
A bigger indoor energy release when climbing and physical challenges are worth the higher admission cost.
Choose something else when
Choose a smaller play space when noise, height, or a large facility will overwhelm your child.
Arrival plan
Choose Active Entertainment, the weekend waterpark, or Sunday Tot Time before buying because the passes are separate. Complete the waiver and leave time for the shared complex garage.
Sibling fit
The range can work for siblings, but adults may need to split supervision when ability levels differ.

Do this: Choose Three Big Challenges

Estimated duration: Use the booked one-hour or two-hour admission window

  1. Start with the easiest comfortable challenge so everyone learns the rules.
  2. Let each child choose one climb, obstacle, or active station to repeat.
  3. Use the final fifteen minutes for the family favorite, then get water and change shoes.

Bring: Water, Required socks or shoes, Completed waiver, A change of shirt, Swim gear only for a waterpark ticket

Easy exit: Finish the current challenge, get water, and wrap up for lunch or the next errand.

Quick parent answers

Is Super, Awesome and Amazing good for cautious children?

It can be, but start with the lowest pressure activity and do not build the outing around completing every challenge. Sunday Tot Time reserves the Active Entertainment Center for children age 6 and younger.

What should parents do before arrival?

Choose the exact attraction, buy its separate pass, complete the waiver, and check clothing or footwear rules for the activities you plan to use.

Does active play admission include the waterpark?

No. The official page sells separate Active Entertainment Center and waterpark passes, and arcade game cards are another purchase.

Super, Awesome & Amazing

Before you go

Choose the attraction before buying

Super, Awesome & Amazing is not one all-access open-play ticket. The Active Entertainment Center includes the Nerf Battle Zone, climbing structures, ropes course, and Ninja Warrior Course. The separate indoor waterpark includes a splash pad, water slides, dump buckets, and sprayers. Arcade game cards are another purchase at the self-service kiosk.

Active Entertainment Center hours and prices

The Active Entertainment Center is closed Monday through Wednesday, open Thursday and Friday from 3 to 8 PM, and open Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 8:30 PM. Nonmembers pay $18 for one hour or $30 for two hours. The St. James members and children age 2 or younger enter this attraction free.

Waterpark hours and prices

The indoor waterpark is closed Monday through Friday and opens Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Nonmembers pay $30 for two hours, while The St. James members enter free. The site says the waterpark is lifeguard supervised, but families should still choose the visit around the least confident swimmer and follow each posted attraction rule.

Sunday Tot Time for age 6 and younger

Tot Time gives children age 6 and younger exclusive Active Entertainment Center time with their parents on Sunday from 9 to 11:30 AM, with kid-friendly music and coffee included. A nonmember parent and child ticket is $14, and each additional ticket is $8. A parent or guardian must remain for the entire session.

Waiver, address, and parking estimate

Complete the venue waiver before play. Super, Awesome & Amazing is inside The St. James complex at 6805 Industrial Road in Springfield. The facility uses a large paid or validated garage. A July 2026 Google Maps building and garage-footprint estimate suggests roughly 600 to 1,000 spaces, but the garage interior is not visible, the count is not official, and spaces are shared across the complex.

Birthday prices are separate from open play

Current packages serve 15 guests and range from $450 to $895. The $450 to $550 Super Starter includes the Active Entertainment Center; the $550 Awesome package uses the waterpark; the $895 Amazing package combines both for three hours; and the $450 Sunday Super Tots package is for children age 6 and younger. The St. James members receive 20 percent off party packages and 10 percent off food and nonalcoholic beverages.

What parents are saying

Choose the attraction before paying because active play, the weekend waterpark, Sunday Tot Time, and arcade cards use separate tickets. Complete the waiver first, and use Tot Time for a calmer age 6 and younger visit.
