Bull Run offers electric only RV sites, electric sites with water, full hookup sites with sewer water and electric, rustic cabins, and group camping. Every campsite has a charcoal grill, fire ring, and picnic table. Confirm the required 15, 30, or 50 amp service and whether the family needs water or sewer at the site before comparing nightly prices.
Current family campsite price bands
November through March nonpeak campsite rates currently run from $34 to $68 per night depending on service. From April through October, Sunday through Thursday rates run from $39 to $73. Friday, Saturday, holidays, and Sundays before a holiday run from $43 to $75. A one time $8 reservation charge applies to guests who live outside NOVA Parks member jurisdictions. These are campsite rates; cabin pricing uses a separate booking selection.
Bathhouses, camp store, and nearby family activities
The campground has two bathhouses with hot showers, sinks, toilets, and laundry. The camp store sells supplies, snacks, ice, and firewood daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. Trails, disc golf, picnic areas, and seasonal Atlantis Waterpark are within walking distance, but waterpark admission is a separate purchase.
Occupancy, vehicles, shade, and pets
A campsite allows up to seven people including children. Each site has room for two vehicles in addition to the camping vehicle, with nearby overflow lots for extras. A July 2026 Google Maps review estimated roughly 35 to 55 visible overflow spaces, but that is not an official count and does not include the two vehicles allowed at each site. Campsites have moderate to heavy wooded shade. Pets are allowed at campsites under Fairfax County leash and cleanup rules, but pets are prohibited in cabins and on cabin sites.
Reservations and cancellation deadline
Reservations are required and same day reservations close after 8 PM. Full payment is due when booking. Cancel at least 14 days ahead for a refund minus a $10 change or cancellation fee. From 13 days through more than 48 hours before arrival, the refund loses one night, or two nights on a holiday weekend. Within 48 hours, NOVA Parks accepts no refund or changes.
Adult registration and stay limits
A campsite registrant must be at least 18 and stay onsite. A cabin registrant must be at least 21 and stay in the cabin. Minors cannot be left unattended in the campground. Campsite stays are limited to 14 days in a 45 day period, while cabin stays are limited to seven days in a 28 day period.
